Virender Mittal is the Global Finance Controller at Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL).
With over two decades of experience, Virender has built a strong track record in leading finance transformation, driving operational excellence and building high-performing teams. At GCPL, he has played a pivotal role in streamlining finance operations, enhancing working capital efficiency and strengthening cash flow management. Known for his structured, analytical approach and collaborative leadership style, he is a trusted advisor within the business.
Before joining Godrej, Virender led the Global Finance Centre at Whirlpool, overseeing Asia region controllership and shared services operations for the US. He was instrumental in redefining Whirlpool’s global shared services strategy, delivering significant business impact.
Throughout his career, Virender has held senior leadership roles across renowned organisations including American Express Global Business Travel, Avery Dennison, Cargill and PepsiCo. He has consistently led finance transformation initiatives and brought strategic clarity to operational finance functions.
Virender is a Chartered Accountant (2003 batch) and an alumnus of the Executive Programme at IIM Ahmedabad. He holds a B.Com (Hons) degree from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University.
Outside of work, Virender is an avid badminton player and a passionate traveller. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kavita, and their two sons, Lakshit and Urjit.

Robert Menzies is Chief Executive Officer, Godrej Pet Care Limited.
Robert joined Godrej in 2014 as Group Head - Strategy, where he was responsible for turnaround initiatives, cost reduction programs, growth strategy formulation, organisational design and process improvements for Godrej’s different businesses.
In 2018, he pioneered the launch of the E-commerce business unit for Godrej Consumer Products Limited’s India operations. He played a critical role in defining its long-term vision and strategy, forming the team, developing new processes and systems and cultivating strong relationships with key customers and partners. Under his leadership, the business achieved significant top and bottom-line growth.
Before taking over as CEO of Godrej Pet Care, Robert was the Global Head of Category, Innovation, and Strategy at GCPL, where he managed key global categories such as Household Insecticides, Air Care, Hair Colour and Hygiene. He was responsible for driving strategy, product development, brand equity and advertising efforts. Additionally, he managed the Global Design and Consumer & Market Insight teams and spearheaded the development of a Global Digital Centre of Excellence.
Prior to joining Godrej, he was a Principal at Bain & Company, a leading global management consulting firm, where he led major client engagements across FMCG, transportation, industrials, financial services and private equity sectors.
Robert holds a master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge. He is married to Farah, an entrepreneur in the consumer space, and they have two daughters, Kiara and Alena. Robert enjoys surfing and fitness, and is a passionate traveller, having explored over 100 countries.

Jishnu Batabyal is the Group Head – Business Development of Godrej Industries Group.
He is an experienced business strategist with a deep expertise in post-merger integration, private equity diligence, growth and customer strategy, brand and portfolio strategy, go-to-market strategy, new product development, performance improvement, cost reduction and operating models. He has a proven track record of delivering significant business results and driving transformation across multiple industries.
In his previous role, Jishnu served as the Director of Private Equity, India/South East Asia at The Invus Group. Prior to that, he was a Partner at Bain & Company in Mumbai, where he led strategic engagements across various sectors.
Jishnu worked at Godrej between 2014 and 2021, first as part of the Group Corporate Strategy Team and later as the Global Head of Strategy for Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL). During his time at Godrej, he played a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and driving growth across international markets.
He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, where he was recognised on the Director’s Merit List for his academic achievements.
Jishnu resides in Mumbai with his wife, Anannya, and their two daughters, Aashni and Aarini. A passionate football fan and sports enthusiast, he is also an avid quizzer.

Aasif Malbari is Managing Director & CEO of Godrej Consumer Products. He shapes the company’s strategic direction and transformation, guided by its purpose of crafting the goodness of health and beauty for consumers in emerging markets.
Aasif has spent three decades in the FMCG and auto industries, at GCPL, Tata Motors, and Hindustan Unilever. In his previous role as GCPL’s Global CFO, he was directly overseeing business strategy and played a critical role in partnering leadership teams across geographies to advance growth and strengthen performance. Aasif also delivered an outstanding transformation of GCPL’s Africa business. The business rapidly grew its margin-accretive FMCG portfolio, headlined by the highly successful launch of the air care category, while strengthening the legacy Hair Fashion business. This resulted in EBITDA margins growing significantly, from ~9% in fiscal year 2024 to ~15% in fiscal year 2026.
Prior to joining GCPL, Aasif served as Chief Financial Officer at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility and Director at Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, where he played a key role in scaling the business significantly, including its reorganisation and a USD 1 billion fundraise in the electric vehicle business. Earlier in his career, he worked at Hindustan Unilever across a range of finance and business roles.
Aasif is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary who secured the All India First Rank in both the CA Intermediate and Final examinations. He is a graduate of Sydenham College, University of Mumbai. He enjoys travelling, especially road trips with his wife and children.

Sumit Mitra is the Head of Group HR and Corporate Services for Godrej Industries Group. Sumit joined Godrej as a management trainee, and has spent over 25 years working across different Group businesses including FMCG, Real Estate, and Food and Agriculture. He currently leads the people practice and efforts to build a purposeful, authentic, inclusive Godrej employer brand for 20,000 team members in over 20 countries across Asia, Africa and Latin America. He has been instrumental in making Godrej an inspiring place to work with an agile and high performance culture that attracts and engages some of the best global talent.
Sumit plays a key role in due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, change management and cross-cultural integrations, which form a major part of the Group's aggressive global growth strategy. He also spearheads Godrej Good and Green, the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility focus on creating shared value opportunities to address social and environmental concerns.

Widely recognised for his expertise in sales, marketing, business strategy and organisational leadership, Mr. Sunil Kataria has led the transformation of legacy businesses into future-ready organisations while delivering exceptional financial and operational results.
Mr. Sunil Kataria previously served as the Managing Director of Raymond Lifestyle Limited (RLL), overseeing a diverse portfolio of six businesses. He also unlocked significant value for the business by listing it independently, achieving a market capitalisation of ₹14,000 Crore.
Before joining Raymond, Mr. Sunil Kataria spent 11 successful years at Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL). As CEO of the India & SAARC cluster from 2015 to 2022, he managed a ₹6,800 Crore business, driving an exponential increase in shareholder value, growing market capitalisation from ₹25,000 Crore to ₹65,000 Crore. Under his leadership, GCPL delivered a 7% volume CAGR, and operating margins underwent a transformative leap, with EBITDA margins rising from 14% to 24%.
Mr. Sunil Kataria spearheaded innovation with the creation of strong brand platforms and successful launches in Hair Care, Air Care and Personal Hygiene. He also strengthened GCPL’s go-to-market strategies, increasing direct distribution coverage from 0.5 million to 1.2 million outlets, while implementing Supply Chain 4.0 initiatives and building robust digital and analytics capabilities. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Sunil Kataria served as COO of Sales, Marketing and SAARC, where he successfully led the integration of GCPL and Sara Lee’s sales and marketing infrastructure. His industry contributions also include serving as Chairman of the Indian Society of Advertisers and holding board positions at the Broadcasting Audience Research Committee (BARC) and Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI).
